1979 BRISTOL 27.7 SAIL or MOTOR
(Bottom, deck & interior cleaned as well as pics taken February 2012)
FEATURES:
Roomy 10ft beam, only 4.8ft draft, 12hp Yanmar diesel, Main and 3 jibs, tiller steering with Auto-Tiller, manual windlass, real Teak and Holly sole (not veneer, not plywood) Plow and Danforth anchors with 2 sets of 50ft chain and 75ft rhode. Raritan head, pressurized shower/sink combo, sleeps up to 5 slim adults and 2 kids, 60 gal total water tanks, teak swim ladder. All ball valves and thru hull fittings are like new. Bottom job (Trinidad SR) and stuffing box packing done one year ago. This boat motors and sails good. 5k BTU AC window unit included. I certify that I have motored this vessel no more than 25hrs plus about 100hrs (in neutral at higher idle) to charge batteries in the 3-4 years I have owned it. The previous owner stated it had low engine hours. The bottom was just cleaned a few days ago with a new zinc. The only thing else the boat could use is to have the stove installed (when I got the boat I removed the alcohol stove to put in a old 2 burner propane stove (no oven), but never installed it. Also, soon after the bottom was painted, the paint at the water line wore off. The painter said he would repaint at next haul out. I'll see if it will show up in new pics. No dingy or trailer is available. Pics of vessel taken in February
Vessel is available for inspection anytime, email me to schedule a visit. For Bristol buffs, this is hull number 23.
